Why purchase voluntary benefits?

The benefits available to you can help protect both you and your family's financial future. The various types of insurance available provide different forms of protection. Understanding these options helps in making informed decisions.

Who is eligible to apply for benefits?

Viamerica Employees

Actively employed working at least 30 hours per week. Some benefits are also available for immediate family members.

Spouse
• Ages 18 and older
• Includes domestic or civil union partner

Dependent children/grandchildren
• Ages 0 through 26
• No student status is required

How long will it take to receive my coverage?

In most cases, once we receive your application, you will receive your Certificate of Insurance between 6-8 weeks. Depending on the type of coverage you are requesting, an underwriter may require medical information. Doing so in a timely matter will help speed up the process.

How can I get help when I can't find it online?

When you need help, contact your employer's benefits representative.
